This is an installation view of my 2013 solo show titled (a)chromatic.
I build a partition wall to divided the symmetrical gallery into two matching halves.
In one half I exhibited pieces which were painted from a palette of 18 colors. In the other half of the gallery I had identical pieces except these were each painted in a gray to correspond to the value level of the colorful piece on the other side.
